By accessing fredvested.com or joining the FRED waitlist, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FREDvested LLC ("FRED," "we," "our," or "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Maryland.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

FRED is an automated investing platform designed to help users build long-term investment portfolios aligned with a personal financial independence goal ("Freedom Date"). The platform provides tools for automated investing, portfolio tracking, and financial projections based on user-defined inputs.
These Terms currently govern your use of the fredvested.com waitlist. When the FRED application launches, additional terms governing in-app services — including brokerage account opening, automated investing, and payment processing — will be presented and must be accepted at that time.
FRED does not provide personalized investment advice. Nothing on this website or within the FRED platform constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
FRED provides automated tools and educational projections based on user inputs and market assumptions. All calculators, projections, Freedom Date estimates, and portfolio illustrations are for informational and illustrative purposes only. They are based on assumed rates of return, contribution amounts, and other variables that may differ materially from actual market performance.
Projections displayed on this website assume a 10% average annual return and apply the 4% withdrawal rule as illustrative benchmarks only. Past market performance does not guarantee future results. Actual investment returns will vary and may be lower than projected, including negative returns.
FRED is not a registered investment advisor under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or any applicable state law. You should consult a qualified, licensed financial professional before making any investment decisions.
Your use of FRED does not create a fiduciary relationship between you and FREDvested LLC. We do not act as your financial advisor, investment manager, broker, or agent. We do not owe you a fiduciary duty of care, loyalty, or any other fiduciary obligation.
All investment decisions made in connection with the FRED platform are made by you, the user. FRED's role is to execute automated investment instructions that you configure — it is a tool, not an advisor.
Brokerage services on the FRED platform are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC, a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. FREDvested LLC is not a broker-dealer.
FREDvested LLC and Alpaca Securities LLC are separate and independent entities. FRED provides the software interface, automation logic, and user experience. Alpaca Securities LLC executes trades, holds securities in custody, and is responsible for brokerage compliance and regulatory obligations.
Securities held in your brokerage account are held in your name in a segregated account at Alpaca Securities LLC and are protected by SIPC up to applicable limits. FREDvested LLC does not hold custody of your funds or securities at any time.
When you open a brokerage account through FRED, you will be subject to Alpaca Securities LLC's own customer agreement and terms of service in addition to these Terms. FREDvested LLC is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Alpaca Securities LLC.
Investing involves risk. Before using the FRED platform, you should understand and accept the following:
Joining the FRED waitlist does not guarantee access to the platform. We reserve the right to accept or decline waitlist signups at our sole discretion. Waitlist position is determined by signup timestamp.
The first 300 qualifying signups are designated as Founding Members and will be offered Founder Access pricing if and when they are invited. This designation is based solely on signup order and does not constitute a binding offer or contract.
Beta access is provided on an as-is basis for testing and feedback purposes. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice during the beta period. No payment is collected at the waitlist stage.

All content on fredvested.com — including the FRED name, logo, design, text, graphics, and software — is the property of FREDvested LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FREDVESTED LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of FRED's services shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees paid by you to FREDvested LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
The limitations in this section apply to all claims, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, whether or not FREDvested LLC has been told of the possibility of such damage.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FREDvested LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any information you submit to us that is false, inaccurate, or misleading.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You and FREDvested LLC consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maryland for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services.
FRED's services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FREDvested LLC disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the results obtained from using our services will be accurate or reliable.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date and, where practical, by sending an email notification. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FREDvested LLC with respect to your use of our services, and supersede all prior agreements.
No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
